Help us create new green spaces in the Bartók section between Szent Gellért Square and Hamzsabégi Road!
Would you like your living environment to be friendlier, cooler, and more livable?
Thanks to the Budapest Community Budget, this could already happen this year. Sign up by February 28: share your ideas on where new green spaces should be established, get involved in their maintenance, and let's green our city together!
Who can apply?
Individuals, but also community groups, businesses, local schools, and small communities can apply to become caretakers of a new green patch.
What does this mean in practice? What commitments do you make with this?
You apply to adopt a green patch in front of your residential building, institution, or business.
The Metropolitan Municipality will create this.
You will help with the maintenance, watering, and weeding so that the little micro-ecosystem can thrive as best as possible.
You will also receive gardening tools and professional assistance from the municipality for this.
Green spaces can be created around existing trees or in currently paved areas – let's plan together what and where should be placed
